2012 Fantasy Hoops Cheat Sheet: Top 40 Forwards

By Tommy Beer
Senior NBA Writer & Fantasy Sports Editor

Last weekend we released the preseason Top-100 Overall rankings for the 2011-2012 NBA season; now it’s time to begin breaking down the performers at each individual position.  We took a look at the Top 40 guards on Tuesday – today I’ll rank the forwards.

As I explained earlier this week, at this early juncture – training camps have yet to open – and the frenzy of free agency will shake things up, the fantasy fortunes of many players could change dramatically over the coming weeks. So check back in regularly for updated rankings….

In addition, it is important to note that, as always, these rankings are based on a nine-category rotisserie league format – the nine categories being: points, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks, three-pointers made, turnovers, FG%, and FT%.

Also please note that any player with forward eligibility in Yahoo! and ESPN Fantasy Leagues will be listed; which means that many players will be ranked at multiple positions, i.e. forward as well as center…
