2013 Mock Draft – 12/1/12

By Yannis Koutroupis

Since the release of our initial 2013 NBA mock draft there has been plenty of movement. The 2012-13 NCAA season is a few weeks old, giving us enough opportunities to evaluate players and the progress they’ve made during the offseason. As always, we do our best to take team needs into consideration, but it is tough to do so at this time of year without under/over ranking certain prospects. For instance, we dropped Shabazz Muhammad, who we still consider the best prospect, from the top spot because the Washington Wizards already have Brad Beal. While the next two teams also have shooting guards they greatly value, we couldn’t justify dropping Muhammad any further. As always, our second round is compromised solely of upperclassmen and international players until the official early entry deadline passes.
