76ers Taking Advantage of Injury to Noah?
Doug Collins has pointed out Joakim Noah’s importance to the Bulls numerous times throughout the playoffs. Now it appears the Bulls will be playing without him.
Noah remained on crutches Saturday, a day after severely spraining his left ankle in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals. He is doubtful Sunday for Game 4 at Wells Fargo Center with the 76ers holding a 2-1 series lead.
“Noah getting hurt obviously was a huge factor,” the 76ers coach said Saturday, referring to his team’s ability to pull out a 79-74 victory Friday. “He’s another playmaker for them on the floor. And he gives them second-shot opportunities around the basket that they missed out on.
“We were able to take advantage of a little fatigue and the fact that they lost another key player.”
