Mark Cuban vs. ESPN Dallas: Drew Gooden of the Mavericks was being taunted by a couple of fans at the Staples Center Saturday. He allegedly responded by calling them “faggots.” The fans then ran to Outsports to tell their story and Mark Cuban responded to a query from the site. Then the media (newspapers) tried to spring into action. Except that Mark Cuban wouldn’t speak to them. Cuban has made it clear he isn’t a fan of ESPNDallas.com, which is why we enjoyed this subtle tweak: “Mavericks owner Mark Cuban declined multiple requests from ESPNDallas.com to comment on the accusations.
