Leading to the July free agency period, a number of players are in contract limbo with either player or team options determining their future.

HOOPSWORLD has learned that the following decisions have been made:

Kyle Korver opted to stay with the Utah Jazz another season.

The Indiana Pacers decided not to keep Marquis Daniels at $7.35 million, although the word is they may look to re-sign him at a lesser amount.

The New Jersey Nets elected to keep Jarvis Hayes another year.

Devean George will remain with the Dallas Mavericks.

The Los Angeles Clippers have decided against keeping midseason acquisition Alex Acker.

The Phoenix Suns have decided Louis Admundson is worth keeping another year.

The Charlotte Bobcats did not exercise their team option on Sean Singletary.

I don't think Boozer will opt out. He is all about the money and his best chance to get paid is by staying put. Millsap will get a huge contract offer from the Pistons and/or Thunder which the Jazz won't be able to match, unless they choose not to resign Okur and go with 2 6'8 players at the 4 or 5. If the Jazz lose Millsap then they have to do everything to keep Boozer next year which means more money.

I think you have it backwards with Hayes -the Net had the team option right? Also, Louis Amundson is a great player, more than just worth keeping around right? What are you predictions on Okur? Why did Milwaukee choose to let Charlie become an UFA? Which free agent should get the largest deal this offseason? Thanks.

Hey Emplay, Any word if Brian Skinner opted out?

Skinner's decision date was postponed until 6/30 - so we'll know soon!

Shouldn't have the comments, not going to be able to sleep tonight, you guys better post something soon. Amare to Lakers, what is Steve Kerr thinking? Talk about coming back to haunt you. I have no idea who they get in return, but unless it's Gasol, not worth it. Sounds like the makings of a dynasty.

I swear Steve nash can opt out this year as well, but he isn't mentioned

It's not that Steve can opt out, it's that his contract isn't fully guaranteed. The Suns won't admit that if you ask them, but we've got that from a front office source who has seen the contract. And no, you won't see the Lakers go after Amar'e. He's not exactly a small forward, and he's not a team-first guy.

amare to the lakers is intriguing, but is this true Eric? can you give us updates if any? Although i'd trade lamar for amare, i don't want fisher a part of that deal. the lakers would then have no point guard, farmar is not ready, and I don't even think he will ever be, he is just a back-up player, not a starter in the NBA. Amare may be selfish, but he is a beast, and Philjax and kobe may be able to control him.

Just trying to show you folks, if Eric was going to break news he'd post an article about it. Anyone can just leave a comment.

I believe the real Eric Pincus would know that the Lakers wear purple and gold. Only a fool would think the Lakers wear blue & Gold!

Probably a prepubescent dork too to hasn't followed basketball for that long. Even a casual NBA fan would have heard at one time or another the Lakers referred to as the purple & gold.

What do you mean Steve Nash's contract is not guaranteed? I thought it was only the nfl that had contracts like that?

Was there a comment somewhere with my name on it? something about Amar'e? Obviously it wasn't me - can anyone send me a link to it?
