Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo sat out Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic with a back injury.

Rondo was hurt in Tuesday’s loss to the New York Knicks when he crashed hard to the floor.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers said Rondo would likely sit out Friday’s game against Atlanta as well.

Rondo has a streak of 23 consecutive games with double-digit assists after handing out 13 against the Knicks.
