The Cavs have offered (Alonzo) Gee a qualifying offer for next season worth about $2.7 million, but the sides have struggled to reach an agreement on a long-term deal.

Gee’s agent, Andre Buck, said Gee would be fine signing the one-year tender if the two sides can’t agree on a longer deal. Gee would then be an unrestricted free agent following the 2012-13 season.
