Amar’e to Have MRI on Back
Amar’e Stoudemire didn’t attend the Knicks’ shoot-around Monday morning, and the forward will have an MRI on his bothersome back later in the day.
The injury is troubling because Stoudemire suffered a back injury prior to Game 2 of the Knicks’ first-round playoff series with Boston last April, and needed three months to recover.
The Knicks play four games in six days this week, starting with Milwaukee, which trails the Knicks by one game for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
