Reggie Miller takes on ‘pocket square’ guys

First we’ll have this disclaimer: We are huge fans of what the guys at Basketball Prospectus do and Reggie Miller is one of our favorite announcers.
So we’re a little torn when TNT’s Miller took some shots the “geeks” who put out information. We did laugh when he used the term “pocket square” instead of pocket protector but we’ll figure that anyone under the age of 40 has no idea what either is.
We rolled our eyes on Miller’s assertion that anyone who didn’t play at his level couldn’t possibly understand the game. That is just too lame and lazy to even argue about.
But kudos to Kevin Pelton of Basketball Prospectus for saying “the folks at the local Boys & Girls Club will be disappointed Reggie is so dismissive of my playing career.”
