Another ad calling for Bzdelik’s firing

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A week after a similar ad appeared in the Wake Forest student paper, an ad calling for coach Jeff Bzdelik’s firing appeared on the front of the Greensboro News & Record on the first day of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.
The ad, which runs across the bottom of the page, uses the hashtag #BuzzOut and cites two statistics: “In 25 ACC road games, Jeff Bzdelik is 1-24 (.040)” and “20 of those losses have come by 10 or more points.)
The ad urges readers to visit FireBz.com, the site that was apparently behind the initial ad in the student paper as well. According to SBNation, Wake Forest fans and alumni raised more than $2,400 to take out ads during the ACC tournament.
Wake Forest is the No. 10 seed in the ACC tournament, slumping into the tournament after having lost nine of their last 12 games. The lone bright spot for the Demon Deacons this season was an upset of then-No. 2 Miami on Feb. 23. But even that hasn’t quelled the critics.
