Arenas Becoming a Defense First Player?
“It all starts with defense,” said (Gilbert) Arenas and, no, I am not making that up. Neither am I making up what (Lionel) Hollins said about Arenas after the game.
“It’s a little bit like last year,” he said, “when we added Shane.”
So Gilbert Arenas = Shane Battier? On this team, why not?
Something seems to happen to players when they join the Grizzlies.
They become their highest and best selves. Arenas certainly appeared chipper after this one was done. (Chris) Wallace was smiling, too.
