Augustin, Hansbrough Still Battling?

Could a Pacers point guard lose his spot in the rotation because of an injury for the second time in less than a year?

It’s possible.

Ben Hansbrough, who became starter George Hill’s backup last week, sat out the second half of Wednesday’s easy victory over the Utah Jazz with what he called a “grade-one” sprained left shoulder. The injury happened when he ran into one of Utah’s big men while trying to get around a screen. Hansbrough classified himself as day-to-day.

Hansbrough was originally ruled out the rest of the game, but then told he could return in the second half. Pacers coach Frank Vogel decided to hold him out so that D.J. Augustin, who was demoted to third string point guard last week, could get some playing time.
