All-American center Brittney Griner and Baylor are the top-ranked team in the preseason women’s college basketball coaches’ poll.

Baylor received 17 of 31 first-place votes, ahead of Notre Dame – which pulled in five first-place votes. The results were revealed Tuesday.

Rounding out the top five were Tennessee, Connecticut and Stanford. Defending champions Texas A&M came in at No. 6.

The Irish, who were defeated in the national title game last year, return four starters – including guard Skylar Diggins.

Miami, Duke, Louisville and Maryland conclude the top 10.
