Two University of Louisville men’s basketball players will not play in Monday’s game against Pittsburgh (ESPN, 7 p.m. ET) in the KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals (16-4) are ranked 13th in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. They are trying to end a three-game losing streak.

Wayne Blackshear suffered a sprained right shoulder in practice Sunday. The injury is expected to sideline him for a short period. Blackshear also missed time last season with an injured shoulder.

A starter in 19 of the Cardinals’ 20 games, Blackshear is averaging 9.2 points and 3.9 rebounds, and his 30 three-point goals are second-most on the team.

Kevin Ware has been suspended indefinitely for reasons that the school did not specify.

Ware is averaging 3.8 points and nearly 16 minutes a game.
