Shooting guard Elliot Williams underwent successful surgery Friday to repair his ruptured left Achilles tendon and will miss the 2012-13 season, the Trail Blazers said.
Williams suffered the injury during a voluntary workout Tuesday at the team’s practice facility in Tualatin.
