Charlotte Bobcats forward Corey Maggette was forced to leave Monday’s game against the New Orleans because of back spasms.
Maggette played just 10 minutes, scoring four points on 1 of 4 shooting before exiting. He did not return.
Maggette, a starter, came into the game averaging a team-high 16.2 points in his first season with the Bobcats.

My all-time favorite question that a team asked players at the NBA draft combine: "What kind of weed do you smoke?" Most players cracked up. Every year at the draft combine, at least one NBA team always asks: "Would you rather start on a losing team or sit on a winning team?" The answer that the NBA team wanted to hear from players was that they would tip the blender over and crawl out.
