The Charlotte Bobcats signed first-round pick Kemba Walker to a contract on Sunday.
Terms were not disclosed on the deal with Walker, who was the ninth overall pick of the draft.
The guard led Connecticut to the 2011 national championship – and was named the Final Four’s most outstanding player.
Walker averaged 23.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists for the Huskies last season.
