Beal out for season for Wizards

Bradley Beal was coming into his own in the second half of his rookie year.
Now it’s over. The Washington Wizards shooting guard will miss the rest of the season with a fibula stress fracture in his lower right leg, the team announced Wednesday. Beal is expected to be able to play again in six weeks.
Beal averaged 13.9 points and 3.8 assists a game this season after being drafted third overall out of Florida. He struggled for the first half, then surged in the second when finally paired with point guard John Wall.
