The Brooklyn Nets are playing the Washington Wizards in a preseason game … and people are going nuts.

The new $1 billion Barclays Center in Brooklyn has Nets fans very, very excited for the upcoming season.

“We’re just excited,” said Nets coach Avery Johnson, via ESPN. “We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.

“When you’ve been selling vision and patience, as I have for my two years ever since I’ve been here — talking about this arena and having some sort of home-court advantage — it’ll be pretty good to see what kind of crowd we get tonight. I heard it’s going to be a good one.”

Judging by the reaction on Twitter, Avery heard correctly.
