Anyone who watched Larry Sanders founder in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas wouldn’t believe how he’s emerged as one of the best defenders in the NBA.

Like virtually everyone else in the NBA, (Bucks coach Jim) Boylan admitted he’s stunned by Sanders’ startling improvement.

“His progress has just been amazing,’’ Boylan said. “I told people before I’ve never seen anything like it from where he was just this past summer to where he is now.

“It’s just a monumental leap.’’
