Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut won’t need surgery on his injured left ankle.Doctors reviewed a CT scan on Tuesday and decided that surgery wasn’t required. Bogut will continue his rehabilitation program and have another scan in a month.The 27-year-old fractured his ankle Jan. 25 against Houston when he landed awkwardly on an opposing player’s foot.Bogut is averaging 11.2 points and 8.3 rebounds in 30 minutes per game this season.

Most "big announcements" involve some sort of chairty function or the like - as was the case with Bryant tonight - esp through Facebook Kobe certainly can't announce any player movement - that's not his role or position - but I got hit up by a ton of people thinking all that Kobe can annnounce injury stuff, future plans like retirement - but he can't announce anything the Lakers might do with amnesty in July
