Bucks, Meyers Leonard a Perfect Fit?
It was the third time (Tyler) Zeller and (Meyers) Leonard have worked out together, after earlier sessions with New Orleans and Portland.
“There’s no doubt in my mind, I feel I had something to prove,” Leonard said. “Over the last couple weeks with workouts and at the combine, I feel I have surprised some people.”
Leonard said he thought the Bucks were a realistic landing spot.
“Those guys traded away (Andrew) Bogut,” Leonard said. “You have a nice corps of guys, Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis. I know Tobias (Harris). He works out in Long Island where I do sometimes.
“Coming in here I had some confidence and I wanted to show what I can do. Today’s workout was great.”
