Bulls’ Butler Out with ‘Unspecified Leg Injury’
That Bulls’ starting lineup debut may not happen Wednesday after all.
On a day when Joakim Noah said he would make his preseason debut and Derrick Rose is expected to return from sitting one game with left knee soreness, Jimmy Butler is a game-time decision with an unspecified leg injury.
Butler could be seen limping through a first-half stretch of Saturday’s preseason victory over the Wizards in Brazil. But he played through the pain and said afterward he felt fine.
But a source said Butler still struggled with the soreness at Tuesday’s practice and was limping afterward. MRI exam results weren’t available.
