Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah avoided suspension for tossing the ball at an official and will be in uniform for Monday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.

Noah was ejected from Saturday’s contest versus the Toronto Raptors and threw the ball in the direction of official Derrick Collins.

“That was wrong,” Noah told ESPN Chicago. “I was frustrated at the call and I overreacted.

“I just feel bad for what happened. I just want to apologize to the ref for coming at him like that. It was wrong of me; I was just frustrated and I just hope he reads this and accepts my apology.”

Noah is averaging 9.9 points and 10.0 rebounds per game this season.
