Bulls G Rose has ‘a little regret’ about injury
Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose admitted that he is experiencing “a little regret” about trying to play on an injured toe last weekend.
“A little regret,” the reigning NBA MVP told ESPN Chicago, “but it just comes with basketball. Injuries are going to happen. But that’s why I always get treatment. And that’s why I always see my trainers.”
Rose did not participate in Friday’s shootaround and is questionable to play versus the Cleveland Cavaliers later in the day.
He initially suffered the injury during a Jan. 10 game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Rose is averaging 20.8 points and 8.7 assists per game this season.
