Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose participated in Monday’s shootaround and will be a game-time decision against the New Jersey Nets.

The league’s reigning MVP, Rose has missed four games with an injured toe, but coach Tom Thibodeau was impressed with what he saw on Monday morning.

“He did everything today,” Thibodeau told ESPN Chicago. “Each day he’s been feeling a lot better. All the swelling is out. Of course he’s got to warm up tonight to see if he’s good. He’s coming along well.”

Rose is averaging 20.8 points and 8.7 assists per game this season.
