Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose believes he’ll be playing in Friday’s tilt against the host Boston Celtics, ESPN’s Ric Bucher reported.

Rose has been listed as day-to-day with a toe injury by the Bulls, who own an Eastern Conference-best 10-2 record.

The league’s reigning MVP participated in shootaround on Friday morning, but coach Tom Thibodeau wasn’t ready to make an official call and labeled him a game-time decision.

Guards Richard Hamilton (groin) and C.J. Watson (elbow) are likely to miss the contest.

Rose is averaging 20.7 points and 8.6 assists this season.
