Bulls PG Rose could sit out next two games
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose could miss Monday’s game against the Orlando Magic due to a groin injury.Rose has sat out the last three games while recovering from the injury. Bulls head coach Tim Thibodeau did not sound optimistic about Rose’s status when asked by reporters and it is possible the reigning NBA MVP could sit out Monday’s trip to Orlando and Wednesday’s game in Toronto.Chicago has a full three-day break between Wednesday and Sunday’s second half of a home-and-home set with the Raptors, giving Rose extra time to recover. Rose has been rehabbing and lifting weights but has not yet started running.The Bulls are 2-1 without Rose in the lineup. He’s averaging 22.8 points and eight assists per game this season.
