Bulls PG Rose disappointed to sit vs. Thunder

The Chicago Bulls will be without star point guard Derrick Rose for Sunday’s showdown against the Oklahoma City Thunder.Rose will miss his 10th straight game while recovering from a groin injury. The reigning NBA MVP vented his disappointment, especially missing out on a chance to go against friend and Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook.“Just trying to put it behind me, man, just trying to stay positive,’’ Rose told the Chicago Tribune after Saturday’s practice. “It feels the same.”Chicago has maintained its spot as the top team in the league without Rose, going 6-3 in the last nine games. Rose is averaging 22.8 points and eight assists per game this season.
