Butler’s Stevens plans on staying put

Butler men’s basketball coach Brad Stevens said he has no plans of leaving the school.Stevens, in a statement released by the school Sunday, said he is “happy and extremely grateful” to be the coach at Butler.After leading the Bulldogs to back-to-back appearances in the national championship game in 2010 and 2011, Stevens has been linked to a number of higher-profile schools.Stevens has a 139-40 records in five seasons at Butler. The Bulldogs went 22-15 this season and missed the NCAA Tournament.
