Can Chandler Make ‘Miracle’ Recovery?
Officially, Tyson Chandler is a game-time decision for Game 2 of the Knicks-Heat series. But, according to Mike Woodson, it may take a miracle for Chandler to play.
The Knicks’ center missed practice on Sunday, staying at the team hotel in an effort to battle the flu that’s been bothering him for the last two days.
“I don’t know what he’s going to feel like (Monday), so hopefully a miracle happens overnight and he’s ready to play,” Woodson said.
Chandler’s condition hasn’t improved since he Saturday afternoon, when he battled through the flu to play 21 minutes in Game 1.
