Carl Landry Out 2-4 Weeks With MCL Sprain

In a posting on his Twitter account Sunday afternoon, New Orleans Hornets backup forward Carl Landry said he sustained a Grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his left leg in Saturday night’s loss to the Detroit Pistons.

“Grade 2 MCL sprain…. I’ll be back out there on the court playing the game I love as soon as I can…” Landry said in the Tweet.

According to several internet medical websites, recovery time from a Grade 2 MCL sprain can be beween two to four weeks.
