Cavaliers G Gibson released from hospital
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson was released from a Boston-area hospital on Tuesday.
Gibson was diagnosed with a soft tissue infection in his neck after the team played the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.
The 25-year-old Gibson will undergo additional tests on Wednesday in Cleveland.
“He’s feeling a lot better,” Cavaliers coach Byron Scott said before the team hosted the Celtics on Tuesday. “I do know the Cleveland Clinic (doctors) are going to do more tests to make sure everything is OK. But other than that, we’re just glad he’s OK.”
