Cleveland Cavaliers rookie guard Kyrie Irving will sit out the team’s next two games with a concussion.

The top overall pick of the draft, Irving will miss Friday’s contest against Milwaukee and Saturday’s tilt versus Philadelphia. The 19-year-old Irving also missed the team’s previous game.

Irving, who suffered the injury after hitting the knee of Miami guard Dwyane Wade, is averaging 18.0 points and 5.1 assists this season.
