The Cavs assigned forward Samardo Samuels to their NBA Development League team in Canton. Samuels has played in 18 games (one start) this season for the Cavs, averaging 3.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game. Lately his minutes have been taken by Luke Walton.

“We sent him down to get a run,” Scott said. “We didn’t want him just sitting there.”
