Even if Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce is healthy enough to suit up in Sunday’s season opener, he likely won’t see much court time.Pierce is battling a nagging heel injury that may keep him out of the lineup for the Christmas Day matchup with the New York Knicks. He’s considered doubtful, but may give it a go.Head coach Doc Rivers suggested Pierce would only play between 15-20 minutes if he dresses, and would be replaced by Sasha Pavlovic in the starting lineup.Pierce averaged 18.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in 80 games last season.
