Celtics G Allen back in lineup Tuesday
Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen will return to the lineup Tuesday against the New York Knicks, according to Celtics coach Doc Rivers.Allen has missed the last four games with swelling in his right ankle, the same injury that sidelined him for six games earlier this campaign.”We’re so much better a team when he’s with us,” Celtics guard Avery Bradley said recently. “For us, we need everybody healthy, playing their game, to have a good run in the playoffs.”Allen is averaging 14.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 46 games this season.Boston can clinch the Atlantic Division with a win Tuesday combined with a loss by Philadelphia at home to Indiana.
