Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen left Sunday’s game against the Washington Wizards with an ankle injury.

Allen was hurt in the second quarter when he collided with Wizards rookie Jan Vesely. He did not return.

X-rays were negative on Allen, who said he felt tightness and pain in the ankle but would attempt to play in Monday’s game against Orlando.

The 36-year-old Allen entered Sunday’s game averaging 15.5 points and shooting 56.5 percent from 3-point range.
