Celtics’ Garnett May Sit With Leg Injury
Boston Celtics center Kevin Garnett did not participate in a morning shootaround because of a leg injury and is a game-time decision for Monday night’s game against the Miami HEAT, according to the team. Garnett has been bothered by an adductor strain in his left thigh that forced him to sit out Saturday’s game against Charlotte and Sunday’s practice.
“We don’t know what he’s going to do [Monday],” coach Doc Rivers said Sunday. “My guess is he’s 50-50 at best.”
With Garnett not participating in Monday’s shootaround, it seems less likely that he would suit up to play against Miami.
