Celtics’ Mickael Pietrus May Return Early
The last time the Celtics saw him, Mickael Pietrus was bouncing down the Garden hallway like a Disney character.
The last they heard, though, the news was even better.
The Celtics swingman passed his first concussion test on Monday, and is expected to take another soon. Conventional wisdom has Pietrus returning in time for the playoffs, but Rivers wouldn’t be surprised if something happened sooner.
“We haven’t got into the return date, but he sounds like sooner than later, though that’s from Pietrus,” Rivers said before the game.
