Scalabrine Joining Bulls Coaching Staff
Brian Scalabrine will be with the Chicago Bulls this upcoming season, however it won’t be as a player. CSNChicago.com reports the big man is set to join Tom Thibodeau’s coaching staff.
There is an open spot on the coaching staff after Rick Brunson took a similar position with the Charlotte Bobcats.
Scalabrine had talked about continuing his playing career, but he may not have received any interest from teams in the NBA and this offer is too good to pass up.
Scalabrine averaged just 4.4 minutes, 1.1 points and 0.8 rebounds last season over 28 games.
