With $21 million over three years remaining on his deal, (Josh) Childress will remain a candidate after averaging 2.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 34 appearances this season.
“No question,” Childress said of the amnesty possibility. “I’m not worried about it. I really have to focus on Josh and not worry about things that are out of my control.”
