With or without the ball in his hands, Chris Paul is a man of style.

The Los Angeles Clippers’ point guard is on the October cover of GQ magazine and talks to writer Steven Marsh about his height, his family, trash talking and the joy of being on the cover of a non-sports magazine.

It is also revealed that Paul’s son will now only do the “Blake Face” for pay.

Paul on being short:

“I’ve been fortunate to be short my entire life. There’s only one position I’ve ever had to play and that’s point guard. So I’ve always had to be that leader. And that was my job: you know, to talk. I’m a big-time people person, too. Like, I love people. I hate to be by myself.”

Paul averaged 19.8 points, 2.5 steals, 9.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds in his first season with the Clippers. That will make him a lot of friends right there.
