DEERFIELD, Ill. — Chicago Bulls injured point guard Derrick Rose was surprised when he found out by media members about coach Tom Thibodeau’s multi-year contract extension on Monday at Bulls Media Day.

Bulls general manager Gar Forman announced Thibodeau had agreed to a four-year deal but did not go over the parameters of the agreement. When asked to iron out some of the details on the contract, Forman kept if brief.

My expectations are always the same. I’m very thankful to (owner) Jerry (Reinsdorf), John … [For more on Coach Tom Thibodeau signs multi-year deal with Bulls, click here.]
