DALLAS (AP) — The Dallas Mavericks have signed free agent guard Chris Wright to a 10-day contract.

Wright was playing in the NBA Development League for Iowa, where the 6-foot-1 guard averaged 15.5 points and 7.0 assists in his 38 games. He was a D-League All-Star.

The Mavericks announced the deal Wednesday. They have a full 15-player roster. Wright is expected to join the Mavericks in San Antonio and be available for Thursday night’s game against the Spurs.

Wright was undrafted in 2011 after playing collegiately at Georgetown and played in the Turkish BasketballLeague in 2011-12. He spent the 2012 training camp with the New Orleans Hornets before going to the D-League.
