The Lakers have won eight of their past 11 games, including Tuesday’s 91-85 victory against Phoenix, which should be a reason to celebrate. But few have noticed the mini milestone amid the constant sideshows.

“There are so many distractions, it’s hard to think about the team,” Coach Mike D’Antoni said before the game. “All you think about are the distractions.”
