The numbers are worse than they’ve ever been.

Lamar Odom is playing only 10.8 minutes a game, grabbing 2.2 rebounds and scoring 1.8 points a game.

But seven games into the Clippers’ season, those ugly numbers don’t have Odom or Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro panicking.

“It’s going to take a little time,” Del Negro said. “I’m very comfortable with his work ethic. I’m very comfortable with his approach.”

“There’s a process for him,” Del Negro said. “He’s continually working on his conditioning and understanding what we’re trying to do there. I’m trying to get him some minutes here and there the best I can.”
