After refusing a spot on the Mavericks’ NBA Developmental League affiliate Texas Legends in February, Delonte West changed his tune. He made his debut for the Legends tonight.

West played 36 minutes, leading the team, in the Legends’ 103-85 loss to the Santa Cruz Warriors. He finished with 10 points, five assists and four rebounds.

West played in 44 games for the Mavericks in 2011-12, averaging 9.6 points per game. He was released in October for ‘conduct detrimental to the team’ following two suspensions in two weeks.
