Deron Williams Frustrated by His Play
Tonight, (Deron) Williams didn’t look like he minded the place so much — at least not in the first half. He hit 8-of-17 shots from the field overall — 7-of-11 in the first half.
“I wasn’t making no excuses,” Williams said when asked if he liked the arena better tonight. “You guys asked me if I liked the arena, I said I didn’t like the arena. (That’s) no excuse for shooting bad. It had nothing to do with the arena; I’m not shooting good (at) home or (on the) road. I’m definitely frustrated, but what can you do?”
