Derrick Rose Beyond Frustrated with Injury
Derrick Rose doesn’t crave the spotlight even when he’s playing basketball at a most valuable player level.
So the weeklong silence that Rose broke Monday morning shouldn’t have surprised anyone.
“They say with an injury like this, they don’t know how long it’s going to take,” Rose said at Amway Center.
“It’s definitely been frustrating,” Rose said. “This is the most I’ve ever been injured in my life. The biggest thing is just staying strong mentally. We’re playing good right now. It’s definitely hurting me, but I’m keeping a positive attitude.
“It could be a few days. It could be who knows?” Thibodeau said.
